Gopal Kumar, Board Vice President
Gopal is an active community volunteer who loves to connect with people and serve them as much as he can. He currently serves as a Library commissioner for the City of Cupertino and joined the Cupertino Library Foundation board in 2017 to expand his community reach.
His special interests are education and kids. He has played key roles in many school boards and other organizations. He also volunteers in mentoring and coaching high school students on leadership skills towards college admissions and beyond.
Teaching one of the Indian languages to 3 year old kids on Sunday through the International Tamil Academy keeps him charged up for the whole week.

Gopal is a Vice President at Cisco Systems (AppDynamics) managing a global engineering team. He has a M.S. degree in Engineering Management from BITS, Pilani, India and strengthened his executive leadership skills through Stanford.
