Self-centered behavior on the part of relatives and romantic partners is a common source of relationship strain. The practice of compassion diminishes the self-centered view and promotes lasting happiness, Participants will learn how to make relationships more harmonious and avoid the pitfalls of self-centered behavior. Participants in the course will be encouraged to identify a strained relationship in their life to practice applying the tools and techniques they learn and monitor progress.
