Art and Culture

We believe fostering creativity and artistic expression deepens our understanding of diverse perspectives and strengthens emotional connections within the community. Our goal is to enhance the quality of life through the beauty and reflection art brings.

Art Displays

In collaboration with the Cupertino Library and the Fine Arts League of Cupertino, we sponsor art exhibits inside the library. These displays showcase 2D artwork from local Santa Clara County artists, providing a platform for artistic expression and engagement.

Movie in the Park Series

Movies in the Park, offers free outdoor film screenings for the local community. Held in local Cupertino parks, this program provides family-friendly entertainment with a lineup of popular films, creating a fun and inclusive space for families and friends to gather and enjoy movies under the stars.

Shakespeare in the Park

Since 1993, Cupertino has been bringing free outdoor performances of Shakespeare's plays to the community. This SF Shakes' Free Shakespeare in the Park program offers an engaging cultural experience that promotes the appreciation of classic literature and live theater in a family-friendly setting.

Family Movie Night

The Summer Film Series, sponsored by the Cupertino Library Foundation for the past two years, features family-friendly movies screened and moderated at the Cupertino Library. The program aims to offer films that are suitable for all ages, fostering a fun and inclusive environment for the community to enjoy together.

Summer Music In the Courtyard

Weekly Music Performance in the courtyard on Sunday afternoons during the months of summer, dependent on the schedule of events and availability of performers.
