Wildfire

Overview

In recent years, the threat of wildfires has become an increasingly urgent issue across California. As climate conditions shift and fire risks expand into suburban areas, the need for awareness, education, and proactive preparedness has never been more critical.

Recognizing this, Cupertino Library Foundation is committed to addressing wildfire resilience as an ongoing focus. Inspired by previous foundation president and local voices like Henry Sang, who shared his personal motivation and community efforts in the featured video, we are planning to host more events, workshops, and educational programs in the future and beyond to empower residents with knowledge and tools to stay safe.

As highlighted in the video, wildfire readiness is not just a government responsibility — it's a shared community effort. By engaging residents, leveraging local innovation, and supporting inter-city collaboration, we can build a stronger, safer Cupertino together.
