The Cupertino Library creates a new Senior Resource Collection

Senior Programs
Free Education Programs for Seniors at Cupertino Library

Older adults are the fastest growing age group in our community. From the Age Friendly Cupertino Task Force Aug 2019 report: there are 7000 residents who are 65 and older representing 12% of Cupertino’s population -- this is projected to reach 17.5% (over 10,000 senior residents) by 2025.
With the anticipated growth in the older adult population, CLF wishes to introduce more programs, geared towards seniors, in the Education and Wellness series, as well as spearhead a new initiative called Senior Transitions Series aimed at seniors and their caregivers.
CLF will work with the Library for these programs and at the same time, enlist external sponsors and partners within the Cupertino community for support. We currently partner with the Cupertino Senior Center on our Film Series for seniors and Forum Health Fund has awarded a grant to CLF in support of our 2020-2021 Senior programs.
